I bought 2 of these subs and still have them in my cavalier. They hit harder than anything i've heard around these parts. I've been told by some "hard to impress" people that I should get it measured for SPL... I think it's a great sub. I'm pushing more than enough power through them and they still want more. Great Sub!
I just put 2 of these woofers in a sealed box in my toyota celica and they hit so hard it almost cracked my back window. I am using a 2400 watt amp and a power cap and its worth every penny
Great sub for the money. Have two of them hooked up to a Visonik 800HC Amp (550X2 RMS at 2 OHM). Things fire like nobody's business, pretty clear and hard hitting. A great sub for the money, definitely worth checking out. A very good alternative to the more expensive "Brand Name" subs out there.
i just bought 4 of these and put them in custom vented boxes that were to specifications from lanzar. let me tell you these things slam, dont under rate them just because they are lanzar, these are awsome, i only have a 1600 watt Boss amp pushing them but they still pound. Great Sub!
Great sounding sub for the money. Hits very very hard. I got 2 hooked up to a 2400 watt amp. The things shook my rear view mirror off!
If you read my review about Lanzar 800 dual 4 ohm i mentioned that I had 1400-1600 watt subs-I did realize the ones I had are 2000W-I need a more powerful amp now-ran a 1400W on both and sounded great-hit hard and LLLLOOOOOOOUUUUUUDDDDD-worth $100 a pop-great value
Bought one of these to replace 2 audiobahn aw120t, hit just as hard if not harder than these 2 in a sealed box. The heritage logo on the cone is nice to look at though i think it should be a different color to really impress. Hooked up to a Legacy Ice 1898 amplifier it sounds crisp clear and hits hard and clean. For the money this is definetly a very good buy
Terrible. Had one hooked up to a 1800 watt amp at 900 rms, 100 watts under its given rms value, and it fried. Two fried infact. Cannot handle a good amplifier. If you get this sub underpower it by alot.
I got two of these in my S-10 pickup.with the limited air space i have it sounds louder that alot of others inside the truck.they hit hard and shack everything.with more air space it has the potenial to shack houses.
bought two of these subs on ebay over a year ago. i have a lanzar amp that is 4000 watt at 2 ohm hooked to them. they are the loudest 12s i have ever heard or owned, they flex all the windows in my car, dropped my rearview off my windshield and cracked a side of my box. overall a great sounding, beautiful, high quality long lasting speaker. i recomend this speaker to anyone who wants big sound for less money
I just bought 4 of these subs and put them in my 87 olds cutlass supreme. I have a mmatts 3000.1 class D amp pushing them.Needless to say i've broken 3 back windows. Great speakers for the money. Hit harder than most name brands out there. check them out. Teven from mia.
i just recently bought this sub and so far its the best sub i have purchased. even though its only one, hooked up to a 1200 sony amp it gives a deep and solid bass response. its in a sealed box enclosure. and it has a great bump 2 it in my 98 gti. it really impresses people. im thinking on buying my second one :)
I bought 2 of these and paired them with a Lanzar opti2000d amp. They were getting about 800 RMS power each and they lasted about a week. The voice coils over heated and both subs blew. They sound good but they can't handle anywhere near their rated power.
I have 2 of these right now and they are the BEST. I had bought a 10" orion HCCA and had it running 2000 watts for 45 seconds and it blew!! Some websites retail it for over $2,000 and most places sell it for $400+ I can handle 1500-2000 watts and these Lanzars dont give out. Just bought a 4 hole box and now have 4 lanzar heritages. Running two power acoustik 4000d amps with 20 farad cap and dynamat all over that trunk. Dont trust name brands all the time like Orion, go for LANZAR!!!!!!
I have 2 of these hooked up to a 4000 watt lanzar amp only turned half way up (don't wont to blow them since they are cheap) in my car and they are pretty good for the price. I hit a 130 db on one of my friends db meter (but it was one of those cheap ones if you can trust them). I have heard a lot better and I have heard worst so what can I say. I needed a system and I was on a budget. They have worked great so far.
good speakers for the money ive got 2 i purchused from this site, ive got them in a sealed box powered by a ma audio hk401sx and they sound pretty good but sometimes u can tell the sound quality is not as good as u want it to be but other than that no complaints
This sub is ok if your going cheap. I had 2 hooked up to a Lanzar Opti2000D amp. They played ok but I ditched them and picked up 2 Lanzar opti1232D subs. If you have the extra 50 bucks per sub to spend get the 1232 D's. Right now I only have one of the 1232D's hooked up and its just as loud as 2 of these. TRUST ME just spend the extra $100.
I think there was a printing mistake on the subs power. I have sold these for years and they are 500 rms 1000 max. This is why everyone who said they put over 500 plus to them they fried. These are amazing movers with this earths air. People couldn't believe how well their amps run them. A.k.a efficiently designed, highly highly recommend.
