Product Reviews For Drive DME-DT03T

  • I just installed this DVD player standing straight up inside my center console. I had to do some custom modification to make it fit, but one can expect that with any system you are adding on, rather than replacing original components with. I am real happy with it so far. I haven't tested out the TV tuner portion yet, but I expect no problems. This is one hell of a good deal for a low budget system. With multiple wiring options, I was able to simply run a power outlet (cigarette lighter style) back to my center console, then just plug it in. I have dual monitors I split off from the RCA video out. The audio was a different animal. Having a very poor initial experience with the little FM transmitters that radio shack has, I opted for a casette adapter running from this machine's faceplace headphone jack (quite convenient) into the cassette player in my Suburban's stock stereo. Minimal wiring fuss, no carpet cutting, and only one rectangular hole in the bottom of my console's top tray to make a perfect fit and exceptionally easy setup.
