These are great components. Affordable, and crystal clear sound. They need to be amped though if you are going to run subs with them. I'd definantly go with Alpines or Rockford's for any speakers.
amazing speakers crystal clear with tight bass response for a 6.5 but u really need to amp them to get the most of of them. im gettin the alpine mrv-f345 to push these and the spr-17lp in the back doors.
You can't ask for a better value with these speakers. They provide clean, solid highs, mids and lows providing that you power them with a good amp. My install guy was surprised at how much bass they put out. Overall a great speaker at an affordable cost. Honda Accord Users: These speakers take a LOT of work to put into your car. The depth of the speakers are so deep that you'd need to make custom brackets to mount them. Stick to 5 1/4's if you don't want to go through hell installing these in your car.
Very good, clear speakers, especially with the MRV-F345 Alpine amp. Make sure you have enough power to them, and not much distortion, because my stock car amp blew my first set and I had to buy another pair. Good quality though. but they're a bit pricy.
I have a pair of these in my 2003 cobra with a 4004 rockford fosgate amp powering them they sound fantastic but the base is a little to much. They sound very clear with great highs. I just personaly prefer my subs to provide the base and my mids and highs to do what there supposed to do. Over all I would recamend these.
Some of the best speakers I have owned. 6x9's in the back and 6.5 in in the front with a 4 channel Infinity amp and your at a concert in your car. The sound that is produced is tight and crisp. Highs are really high, mids are perfect and bass is just right. Alpine is the best.
I added these to my 1993 Subaru Legacy Turbo. They were a little big for the car but once they were in they made a huge difference with the WRX Head unit I have. The highs and lows are exceptional. The mids arent as spectacular but still very good. I would definitly buy these for another vehicle!
I made 2 custom door pods for these speakers in my truck. They are amped, and the base vibrates the door skins by themselves. Great speakers, worth the money.
