I had two of these hooked up to a sony amp, giving them 300W RMS to each, they put out sum good bass, but for the price your better off going bigger, the two of these i had both broke within 4 or 5 months, the magnet cover comes off and sumthing in the middle popped making a terrible rattling noise. I liked these subs while they lasted(they were my first subs) but now i know to buy higher quality product especially shopping for speakers. I recommend Kicker or Hifonics subs, they pound and put out tons more bass that rattles everything.
I have had these for almost two years, and I have a 500 watt amp powering them (250 each side bridable) and I have it on mono. They have rattles my newly installed windshield loose (it rattles a bit and makes a loud noise.) I have never had any problem with these chunking out, even when they are cranked. I have a Kenwood deck---> an equilizer---> crossover and then the amp for the subs. that $20 cross-over was the best thing I bought. It filters out the voice frequencies, and send strictly bass signals to the subs. It also has bass boose. Long story short.. it added about 4 times the bass i had before lol. I highly reccomend these.
