This is the second thing i ever purchase from mtx. And i freakin love this amp. This amp hit clean and hard. i'm pushin two ma audio 1200xl @600 rms and it's the perfect power combine with the amp. This is an very good amp.
I am only 15 years old and i've been hooked on car audio since i was ten... I recentcly had 2 alpine type-R's with a 700 watt mono-amp, nothin special but i was 13 when i put it in my car so it satisfied me. I bought this amazing amp and hooked then up to my to R's (old models) and i had the gain about 3/4 and i was just listening to it at regular volume...then i turned it up more and more and i blew those mothers. so i decided to by a MTX 9500 and this thing absolutely dumps...this amp powers them with plents of power.. I plan to by one more of these amps and one more 9500. Thanks for the great deals OCS.

I have 2 of these amps + 2 9500 12" mtx woofers and 1 mtx 4 channel and this system hit hard and very clean i cant belive these amps hit this hard at such low watts.cant wait till 92001 amps hit the street.MTX underrates there amps like no other company.
i have this amp on a 150 amp fuse block hooked up to 4ga power wire and a 1fared cap and this amp straped to 4 - 10" db drive speed series dual 4 ohm subs and it freeking slams in my 2002 ford f-150 xcab on my kenwood excelon dvd player kvt-817
Im sorry to say but this amp is not a 1200 watt amp at 1ohm. No it is much higher than that. MTX is saverlly underratting there amps. I bought this amp and when I opened up the box and looked at the burst sheet, it said mine was rated at 1598 watts at 1ohm. I am pushing 2 12" kicker CVX subwoofers in my F-150 single cab and am slamming the crap out of my truck. This amp is a little bit more pricy tha the other top end amps but i can tell you that it is by far one of the cleanest and most powerfull amps on the market and I am putting that up against the kicker and memphis amps. BOTTOM LINE, this amp slams and is very reliable
I bought this amp 2 weeks ago off ocs and its an absolute beast. Its not a 1200watt amp its way overrated. The birth sheet that came with my amp lists it pushing 1743 watts rms. I even have a second battery on it and it still dims my headlights. Extremely satisfied
I have this amp and it is a beast. The dang birth sheet that came with it said it puts out 1728 watts. All I can say is wow. I have it on 2 12" Autoteks in a 4 cube ported box and have shattered my back window... Holy crap.... I had a Kicker ZX1200.1 and the birth sheet said 1434 watts and my Rockford Fosgate T1500-1BD came with a birth sheet that stated 1662 watts.... By all means this amp has the feature I like....... I have this amp pushing two Fosgate P2 12's. don't expect them to last very long as this amp is a monster !!!
I have this amp and i was pushing 2 kicker 12"cvx and i poped a voice coil the same day this amp is a monster, mtx all the way.
this is stupid bass... and i freakin love it.. i kant say anything more besides a guy in a kaprice feeling shut down by my two 12 inch mtx's with this amp. ill never forget his words "damnn homey, wut u got in that lil honda. four 15's???" hahaha ...
hey i have a mtx 7801 amp and a mtx 3404 amp that i got from a friend, i never heard the system when he had it hooked up, i bought it off him for $250 for the pair and my ???? was should i sell it and buy something different or should i keep it, cause im more of a Fosgate person so i nevered tryed out this brand... let me know
best amp i hve ever owned in my lifetime id do anything for another one iv pushed 4 ttens jlw3 flwlessly i pushed 4 twelves now im bout to to fifteens its actually power is the same as the te1500d this is underrated its actual power runs between 1600-1900 watts rms at 1 ohm and i have did some test on mine since its almost 9 yers old n found it can run at half of ohm n seems more powerful at half ohm so with that said this amp could be actually about 2200-2400 w rms at half ohm this thing is an absoulte beast i personally think mtx made this mp the best they ever created n love to have bout 2-3 more of thease amps
