I must say I'm very impressed with these speakers. I threw them into the dash of my 2005 Dodge Ram to improve the sound stage and image. Wow!!! The sound quality is fantastic as well. The cymbals are so much more crisp. The voices and horns sound beautiful. I am using the 3.5's from 1.6KHz on up and the door 6X9's from 1.6KHz on down. Definetly a keeper.
I installed these speakers in the dash of my '89 Cavalier i must say very big improvement over stock and added alot more dimensions to my music.
I didn't think such little speakers could sound as good as these but I was wrong.Mounted them in my car's A and C-pillers using my headunit's own amp to power them.before my car's soundstage was low and lacked any highs but now it's vary high and wide with good deffernition and clairaty.have them crossover at 200HZ using aftermarket passive crossovers(12 octave slope filters) and hiden so people can't tell where their are and every body ask me how come my car sounds so goodw you know and it's all because of 4 little speakers. Thanks infinity for making such great speakers these are amazing.
i have these in the dash of my monte ss along with 6 1/2 in the kick panel.starting off with a kenwood excelon deck. 100x4 rms amp and play them so hard,(rock/metal) till the speakers start to smell and they are still fine. very good product. "system setup is half the fun".
I have these in my dash powered by an alpine 4 ch amp pushing about 90w to each speaker. I have to say these speakers sound amazing!!! Right now they are the only two tweeters in my car and the fill the whole car. I spent $100 for them so $55 is a steal. The only bad thing is even with the crossover they push too much bass it sounds weird the amount of bass they can push but nothing the HPF didn't fix. Next is kappa 6x9's for my rear deck:)
