these are awsome! I love these speakers they are super clear. I highly recomend these in place of stock speakers. The 6x9's are good too.
these speakers are really excellent, clear sounds,the tweeters are amazings. In the past i used autobahn, they stand no chance with these speakers. as we speak right now i'am ordering another pair. Holla!!!!!!!
I have these hooked up to a hifinics zx4400, and wow, they will litterally drive you insane if you turn them up to loud and even if you do turn them up loud, they sound super clear and no distortion to speak of.

These speakers made my old ones look so bad that i dont know how i lived without them. When i installed them with my new tweeters, they blasted so loud i had to add more power to my rear speakers to hear the rear ones. overall, these are definitely worth the money and if you get and amp, defenitely even better.
speakers can get very loud. The tweeters just screen and the woofers put out decent bass for 5.25". These will not disappoint.
Had these and sold them...BAD IDEA. now im here to buy more and the components for my new project car. I love these, loud and clear, great for showing off. 10/10 and CHEAP!!!!!
i put four of these in my daughters 91 lebaron as they fit right in under the factory grills. they sound great, and i was shocked at the bass they deliver. she is happy with them, and so am i. they are a very good speaker, at a great price.
I have these in my pontiac GT hooked up to my stock stereo. I don't know if it has a break in time but I can tell that it has some potential. We'll see if the sound gets better. Right now it sounds like it blown at low a low volume.
Simply outstanding sounding speaker for the price. I'm running 4 off of a clarion cz109 head unit and it can get plenty loud. The head units internal amp gives up before the speaker does. So I'm sure these will CRANK and sound even cleaner with an amp. I've had pioneer's, kenwoods,excelons, and infinity references and like these better than any of them. If these fit your car and you don't plan on spending at least 75 bucks I'd stop looking and order these now. You wont find better at close to this price. Screaming clear highs, though maybe a bit accentuatd, and very good midbass. Best bass response I've heard out of a 5 1/4". I've had a few speakers in the past I liked better, but they cost WAY more. The Boston S-Series, MB Quart Discus, and JL Audio VR seperates. These all had a bit smoother highs and a bit better overall tonal balance. They're all much more expensive and were run by a zapco ag360 though. So this is really like comparing apples to oranges. Bottom line is these are LOUD, even off deck power, and sound great, for very low $$$$$$$$!
everything about this speaker is outstanding i love it i have it in my 99 s10 zr2 in the dash i had to custom mount them but either way it was well worth it :) best possible speaker for the money
Really good speaker for the money. I have been used to brands like MTX, JBL, and Kenwood. I was a bit skeptical about these at first, I always thought of HiFonics as a "swap meet" brand. But I wanted something cheap for my Hyundai accent, and these were reviewed well. I powered them off of my Clarion head unit. Sound quality is good, crisp highs, good bass for a 5 1/4" speaker, but will distort if turned up high. Definitely changed my mind about the HiFonics brand.
