Product Reviews For Sony XS-MP1620W

  • I had the older Sony XS-MP61MK2 speakers in my boat that were factory installed. The sound quality on those were adequate and were only 40 W which led to my stereo blowing them out. These new speakers, XS-MPMP1620, are great! 160Watts and I paid less here for them then the older speakers and they are much more well built, a great buy!

  • Didn't last 2 months of normal decent operation !! Tweeters went off in both speakers as well the rubber seal around the cone of the woofer went off ... very very bad quality.

  • Very good speakers, worth the price. I have had mine for 2 seasons and they still sound great. These speakers are water resistant, not waterproof. Remember, if you hose them down, the tweeters will come off. If they are properly sealed with silicone you will have no problems with them
