I upgraded from 5.25" 3-way speakers to these 6.5" 4-ways. I have to say that the sound had been tremendously improved by doing so. Without going into the story, see my previous review of the Pioneer TS-A632P speakers I put in my front doors. After I go these TS-A642P's installed in the rear seat panels of the car, everything coming out of my stereo just seemed to be 10 times larger and come alive. The speakers don't distort and flutter at high volumes, and it just plain sounds great. I think I made a very good decision in switching to a larger speaker for a more vibrant ambience. Oh, and regarding the 632P's, they sound really good, too. The door panels vibrate with good bass now. That's something that was seriously lacking with the 5.25" speakers that were in there.
These speakers are perfect. I have a 1999 Saturn and the stock speakers in it were worthless, I had to have the whole equalizer low as could go, otherwise the speakers would crackle...But once I put these Pioneers in, it made the car sound alive again. Now the car sounds crisp and clear. These arent any subwoofers, so dont crank them up a lot, then it will get distorted, but they are perfect for rock music. I couldnt be any happier!!!
Once again pioneer is on point!!! These speakers sound FANTASTIC! I highly reconmmend them to anyone
There are so meny speakers out thire that sound so good, but you need an amp to make them singt this one, just hook them up to your deck and add some subs with an amp and you have a sound system. Shiping was fast to.
