  • Umm whats to say. I have two of these subs in a hatchback and they are the loudest thing out here. I have people all day long going oo love megaloud, kicker, alpine..blah blah blah. Then the sit in my car and i turn these beasts up and they shut there mouth and say where can i get a set?? Nothing louder. I will put money on it. And they hit so accurately its amazing.

It shakes the whole frame of my truck, and it turns more heads than any others subs ive had.... im running it off a 1200 watt mono block hifonics brutus amp..... it weighs like sixty pounds... its the best 15" out right now for the money..... good investment...will buy again..All SoundStream Products are Top of the line!!!

  • These sound very good and have very nice bass response!!! But as for power handling they are not good i had my 2 wired for a 2 ohm load and had just the right amount of watts pushing them and after about 2 weeks the cones blew on them!!! so yes they sound very good but not a good choice if u love bass!!! and want it to last

  • I'm think about bying two of these subs but the guy from Des Moines;IA blew his cones do you think he did not know what he was doing or these sub can;t take the heat from a two ohm load or we sould just ignore his review.

  • Hey Brian, thought I was the only one with these, you should come out to a NewEnglandSPL event. I got 1800 wrms daily to 2 of them and they shake the pavement. I compete in the NESPL with them hitting 145 on music higher on burps. In 9 events I have 8 1st places and 1 2nd place. I listen to my music at full volume all the time and they never even get hot. Its pretty clear the guy from IA doesn't know wtf he's talking about, the only reason I am getting rid of these is I am getting 2 XXX-15's.

  • I ran this sub in a ported box 3.5 cu. ft tuned to 32 hz off of one channel of an audiopipe 3000 (1500 watts) Surprisingly this subs has a very warm sound to it. But do not be confused although it is very good sounding woofer it has absolutely no problem getting loud. I took the woofer directly out of the box and with no break in time the low end extension was quite impressive. I have alot of experience with different subs but i was more than impressed with this sub. It took power and there was no indication at all of the coil heating up or anything. Was just as loud if not louder than my brothers cvx in the same car, on the same amp, and in the same box. i would recommend to anyone in any application

  • Ill tell u what, this sub hits and hits agin and then agin and most people cant sit in my car for long. I have one with a Hifonics 1200 watt amp, pumpin this bad boy. I turn my deck up to 45 and the sub will make u noshis. Comps. are fun when u win with one sub. Well and 4, 6.5 Soundstream mids with a 4 channel amp. that gives them 120 watts to each.

  • i have 2 t5 15s in a 2006 eddie baur edition explore with a 4 cu. ft. slot ported box powered by a soundstream xxx 4000 monoblock amd wired with zero guage and this think is seriously loud! i used to have it in a 04 grand am and it broke the left taillight, broke the seal on the back window, broke the clips off the driverside window and rattled my bumper almost completly off. i can bang this thing for and hour and a half straight and neither the subs or amp get hot. so far its been the loudest stereo in town for three years and noones came close! id like to get a decible rerading on it but its gotta be pretty high but im not sure where they do them. long story short i wouldnt buy anything else but soundstream and if i had the cash i would go with a XXX 18" and a xxx goliath 15,000 watt amp with a 6 cu. ft. box but thats outta the question.SOUNDSTREAM IS THE SH@#!!!! O BTW MY STEREO WAS HOOKED DIRECTLY TO MY STOCK BATTERY FOR 3 YEARS AND NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH ALTERATOR OR ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS! subs full blast drew 1.4 volt off the battery with no capacitor. it speaks for its self;)
