Product Reviews For Dual XDM7510

  • If you are looking for something to add to your amp and subs and want some deep bass, the dual is what you want. This blows my old alpine from two years ago out of the water. plus if you look at best buy this unit sells for $220.00 originally. Overall great deal.

  • This receiver is absolutely perfect for what you need. This thing wont limit you on every possible fine tuned setting you want for your subs or speakers. I have 2 audiobahn aw1008t subs running at their full potential with 2 amps and this receiver...never heard a system that sounded as good i can fine tune my subs just the way i like them with this thing. Plus it has a cool feature if you use mp3 data cds. can type in the number of the song. helps if you have 70+ songs on a single disc!

  • I've had this unit for a a little over a year now. For the price, I thought it would a fair decent unit.... at least until after having it for 5-6 months. Sometimes it seems the unit is confused on what button I've pressed. Sometimes, I'll press the "AUD" (audio) button and the crazy thing will skip to the next track. Sometimes I'll press "eject" and the thing will simply pause the track. Sometimes the ejecting issue becomes so bad, that I have to turn my car completely off, hoping it may reset something just to actually eject my CD. Also, it tends to have ERROR messages a lot. Maybe that's just my unit. Anyway, the look of it is cool.... everyone talks about it all the time, when they see it. The controls are easy to operate while driving. Oh yeah.... one other thing to note: If your stereo port (not sure if that's the right word) sits high on your dashboard, then you may have trouble seeing or reading the screen clear, because the face will only come down so far. I suggest getting this unit if your port is somewhat low.

  • the dual is great for the sound quality.sometimes i would think it has a preamp. Im runnin a 1000 watt xplod amp and 2 800watt pioneer subs and it(the dual)makes them sound nice.we all know my amp and subs arent all that great.their wallmart stuffwas the head unit that changed the sound.BUT the cd player stopped spinning the discswont work at all. I think it a defect from the factory but i just wanted to mention it.overall i like it and i usually dont like duals

  • I have owned this unit for almost a year now and i love it. i get comments on how cool it is when its open.. i have also experienced the problem with the cd player just atarting to do something other than what the buttons say and my cd player dosn't read cds anymore (but that might be my fault i got mad at a song and memories and punched it, it stayed in one peice still works so its sturdy).. but i love the cd player and if you have an mp3 player the iplug is neat.

  • This is a great looking headunit. It flips down, and is stylish with easy controls. The downside is the sound quality. If you install this and then install a kenwood for the same price, you'll hear a big difference between the two, and the kenwood is a lot better, I know from experience. Wouldn't recommend for serious bass heads or people that enjoy quality listening, because there are better units for the same price out there.

  • I had this installed for about 1 year, then it became posessed. I would try to turn down the volume and it would get very loud to the point you had to shut the power off. It would also start skipping automaticly to other songs on its own. It has gotten to the point it will not play anything radio, cds, or mp3. I will have to just trash it cause it only looks good.

  • I originally bought this unit because my son had one in his truck and I couldn't stop playing with it, and the color was so outstanding. I have not been disappointed at all. The sound is good, it picks up distant radio stations great, plays my mp3/wma cd's great, is easy to use, has lots of cool features, and is just the coolest stereo I've ever owned. Ok, so maybe I'm crazy about blue, but it's still an outstanding stereo that's done a great job for the price. And the mp3 jack hasn't fauled me yet; I love the fact you can customize the system by putting it anywhere you want. Besides, who can't fall in love with a stereo that moves??? I would buy another in a heartbeat.
