Awesome sub... Hands down this thing is your bang for the buck. I have one in a kicker ported box and it pounds. Its hooked to a Memphis 1000.1 powereference amp needs alot more power to get its max.
I have two L7 12's in a custom made enclosure, lets say the box cost as much as the subs almost. It is 6cu ft. of air and only one chamber, yeh one chamber. Some look down on it untill you watch my trunk lid lift up a inch or two while shut. the one vent in the box is tuned to 35htz for spl only. I have an 08 kicker zx1500.1 at 2ohms. I would buy these before any thing, and if your looking for subs dont think twice cuz you wont be disapointed get the L7's. I hit 146-149 db in a custom 92 caddy. Buy them
To follow up on my last review I have about these L7's. I just was tested at 151 dbs today. Unreal, I again highly recomend buying the L7's and not waisting ur money any were else. These are sicc. I turn alot of heads with these.
I HAVE 2 KICKER L7 12S IN A SMALL SEALED BOX IN MY SMALL 2008 HONDA CIVIC SEDAN 4 DOOR AND IT SOUND REAL GOOD NICE DEEP BASS ONE DAY WHEN I SAVE UP MONEY IM TRY A SLOT PORTED BOX TO SEE WHAT IT SOUND LIKE
i have an 05 benz with jvs double din touch screen infinity kappa compnent kit and kappa 6.5 in rear with a kicker 750x4 power them...and 2 L7's with the kicker 1500x1 in a custom box thats ported in the rear deck of the car...all work was done by DYNAMIC AUTOPORTS the first show the car went to we took 4 first place trophies .sound .bass.clarity .of show... 4 reason why im hooked on kicker...
I LOVE THIS SUB I HAVE ONE IN A SUPER BASS PRO BOX BOX MAN IT SOUND LIKE TWO 12s SUBS BUT I JUST HAVE 1 DANG IM GET ANOTHER ONE SEE WHAT TWO SOUND LIKE WHEN I GET A NEW BOX
I have one of these bad boys in a ported single box powered by a MTX 1000bd amp. This sub POUNDS~! sounds like I have 2 12s instead of 1. I would HIGHLY recommend this sub to anyone wanting a GREAT sounding sub but has minimal room.
I have had one of these in my Toyota Avalon for 2 years and all I can say is WOW! I am usually the guy who switches our subs every 6 months, but This monster can take my 1800 watt amp and just push out good sounds. I have been a fan of Solobarics since these bad boys were round and Gray. I'll never get another Subwoofer.
i have six of these in a chevy siverado and when you have people coming from two blocks down complaining that you are knocking stuff off shelves then you know you got the best!!
I have 2 of these powered by a 1500 watt kicker mono block amp, all i can say is they are impressive. i have the gain and bass boost a 1/4 of the way up and its almost to much to handle. With these speakers you need some good interior speakers to go along with them because the bass needs to be matched with sound quailty. But if you turn the gain up expect a tidal wave in Taiwan because they are no joke!
I had two of these in a 5.5 cubic foot enclosure and they definately pounded. While they got loud they didnt offer the greatest quality, after building about three boxes and experimenting with ports a compromise was made a little output was lost but quality was gained. in short if bang is what youre looking for then this is a pretty good choice, if you want quality look elsewhere.
these subs hit hard as hell i have 2 running at 2 ohms and each sub is getting about 600 watts rms i love them not the best sq but the spl is nuts
Im running two of these subs in a custom slot ported box, on a zx1500 with 0 ga. wire and an 800 amp battery. its in the trunk of my 99 vic and it pounds HARD. i also have infinity 6x8 components x4 inside on an infinity 1200.4. this system sounds pretty amazing.
I have 4 of these running on two sperate 2500.1 kicker amps. its loud but the subs dont hit every note the greatest.
