good god kicker did a great job making these i just got em hooked up to my head unit and they dont distort at max Note to not buy 3.5's if you are looking for bass these are only good if you want high /mid high they do the job great! worth every single last penny and more tyvm ocs

Generally, people don't buy 3.5" speakers for bass. In certain vehicles, notably GM vehicles from the mid '70s onward, It's the only size speaker that will fit in the dash cutouts. The dash speakers are only for the purpose of giving some sense of front sound imaging. The bass is supplied by the rear speakers, such as rear deck, or behind the seat of a pickup truck, where you have room for 6x9s. Be careful not to overpower your 3.5s because you could burn out the tweeters. Some stereos are designed to put less power into the front speakers because of this.
