Very disappointed with these subs. I bought a sony amp with it and they didn't even hit that hard. I have friends that will out hit me with 10's. Good price, but sound quality is not that great.
I bought these with a box i got... they suck... i had a 1000 watt xplod amp hooked up to 2 of these with a giant ported box, they blow before one cd finished.. i didnt even make it home...
i have one of these plus a legacy twelve hookd up to a 1200 watt xplod amp. all i can say is it pounds hard and clean. these subs are not designd for ported boxes. put them in a seald or bandpass box. if u r having trouble with bass try picking up a pioneer headunit. i find that pioneer has the best bass output. overall nice subwoofer. cheap, good sound and power. but id go with pioneer 12s. they are cheeper.
my brother had 2 of these in a acura integra in a sealed box with the old school 1000 wat sony amp... they would shake shit of the shelves two houses down .... he had to roll his windows down so he didnt blow them out
These subs are the best ever hands down. I have four of them hooked up to two Alpine MRP-M650. MAN don't they hit hard as hell, I did 165 db. Best sub ever, Planing on buying more well worth the money.
