Product Reviews For Lanzar SDBT79NV

  • What attracted me to this unit was mainly the navi... I purchase this unit and can say i hav tested it fully... the pros of this unit is the navi its great ( it took a while to get use to but once u understand it its great!!!bc its not cover in the manual)its has a speedometer, warns u when u are speeding, and auto route correction. the touch screen works better than the one's of my cell phones.. very impress Features.. for the money this unit is banging with features so many inputs.. u can hook up back up cameras, mp3,a sub-woofer option, USB, and the ability to play two different music sources at the same time ( for ex. the mp3 can b playn in the front and the radio in the back) this unit offer sum cool stuff. The DVD is great quality no flaw in it i can c. It gives a nice home theater feel when lookn at movies.. I playd bootlegs, copies, orginals and rentals on it and they play nicely. The cons.. The system have acted glitchy a few times.. i had to hit the reset button. The face look cheap!!!! i mean really cheap!!!!! This was one of the hideaway face it gives that illusion a lil to good kinda remind me of one of those cheap vr3 they sell on ebay. The buttons on the face become unresponsive sum times u gotta press it like two times sum times.... i learn to just take my time with the buttons on the face( pressing the skip button 2 fast will cause the cd player to freeze for a while) The sound is okay and it does get loud but it just dont get as loud as my pioneer. For this unit to b rated at 80 watts its just dont get a loud as my 40 watt pioneer. But i wont lie this unit sound will not distort at high volumes..just not as loud as i would like.. The last con... at high bass (like 80 - 85 % volume.. sumthn like 2000 watts of bass)levels when i had subs hook up the screen will distort.. it will start flashn and lookn like a wash on the screen. All and all this unit in my opion is solid.... If you can get pass the face its ok 4 the price.. Once u flip the screen up u 4 get about the ugly face and this unit will compete with sum other very nice units... Its a very base unit with a few extra features.. My friends clown me the day i told them i bought a Lanzar DVD... A Lanzar DVD lol... is what the said.. Once they sat down n my truck and playd with it they all wantd to buy it.

    Lo
