Am I the only person in the country to have bought these speakers? LOL. I've bought these speakers about a year ago and I still cant find any customer feedback on them...so I though I'd be the first. I guess due to their design they only suit very few applications. Well they were perfect for my situation. I have them in my Audi TT conv. Besides being a small car, the rear speaker placement is horrible. The stock rear speakers are 3 1/2” and are located behind the seat about 2” from the floor of the car. I know, brilliant right? After having a new system installed in my car (Kenwood head unit, Alpine type R 6 ½ components, 12” Kicker CVT mounted in a small wedged box in the trunk, 50x4 Alpine amp and a 500watt Alpine mono amp) I just wast happy with the sound. No matter how good the front speakers sounded, not being able to hear even a whisper out of the rear speakers just didn't do it for me. I came across these cadence and thought to myself that it couldn't be worse than having no sound in the rear, so I though I'd give them a try (with very low expectations). I mounted them behind the rear seats on the little deck space. I mount them lying on their sides so they wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb. It turned out looking like a factory set up. Now to the good stuff...the sound. I know a bunch of people say they are “audiophiles” and are truly clueless, but you're going to have to take my word on this. I've been buying high end audio like a maniac for over 15yrs. So I absolutely know what a excellent speaker sounds like. And the little cadence is amazing! The sensitivity rating is very accurate. To give you an idea of that, I have the rear channel of the amp turned all the way down and the front set at appx ¾ . Even with that the poor Alpines can't keep up. They are bright, clear and very loud. If you need a great speaker and have limited (or your stock speaker location stinks) you will be extremely happy with these. There you have it. The only feedback for these speakers on the web:-)
