I replaced my Alpine CDA-9884 and let me say that unfortunately the Alpine isn't in the same league. The features of the Excelon and sound quality is superb. To many features to list. This deck is even better than my Eclipse 3100. The new design of these decks and the remote is right on the money. For $200 you can't come close in any other deck.this H/U you will be glad you did

Hey i will ya right now...there is not a better head unit out there for this price... I got this with an Alpine amp and Kicker sub...dude its amazing. You can literally shake up you your whole system with this...sub controls, db level, 5 band equalizer, untimate control of a system...froms your tweeters to your sub... Its crazy.could easily sell for twice as much..
I bought this unit 3 months ago sounds very good in my second car is good but the eclipse cd 7200 sound much better.
The unit is nice except it's not very ser friendly compared to other units i've had. The equalizer doesn't let you customize your high end frequencies, only your subwoofer. It also looks ugly in the dash with a dull white illumination and ugly graphics.
