Product Reviews For Autotek M2500.1D

  • I have this amp pushing an MTX 9500 12 at two ohms, and for $169, Jesus. This thing pounds. I thought I'd buy this to hold me over until I could buy a way nicer amp, but this thing's still going strong. It's been in the back of my Jetta for about three months, and it's survived a trip to Cali and back (20 hours) and never shut off once. It does get pretty hot though. My only big complaint about this, is the SQ, it's pretty bad, but if EQ'd enough, it get's better with time. You just have to spend a bit of time playing with this amp. Before this system, I had two Alpine Type R 12's being pushed by a Kicker ZX1000.1 Which actually pushed about 1200 watts, and I'd like to think that this amp and sub combo blow my old system away in SPL. Anyways, enough with the rambling, just buy this damn amp if you're a little short on money and need some bass in your ride. (;

  • I got this amp a few days ago and I have nothing but good things to say about it. I have ran Alpine Monoblock, Kenwood 1800 watt Mono block, and a 2000 watt 2 channel to my P1224 JBL's and nothing sounded this crisp, or hit like this amp hits. Its still new so I guess I need to wait a few weeks to really beat it up, but as of right now I have no coplaints.
