Here's an easy-to-use crossover that lets you tweak your system from the front seat. The XEC-505 is a compact 1/2-DIN size for easy mounting in your car or truck's passenger compartment. Use two short patch cables to get your preamp signal from your receiver to the XEC-505 and longer patch cords to route the crossed-over signals from there to the proper amplifiers. The 2-way design includes separately selectable high- and low-pass frequencies. For subwoofer low-pass frequencies choose 50, 80, 120, or 180 Hz. Subwoofer volume is controllable from 0 to +6 dB. There is also a 40 Hz bass boost, variable from 0 to +12 dB. High-pass frequencies are 80, 120, 180 Hz. The high-pass filter can be turned off. The XEC-505 has separate RCA inputs for front and rear, plus 3 pairs of RCA outputs. Each output (front, rear, sub) has it's own level control. Level controls, EQ boost, and crossover frequencies are easily adjusted from the front panel. Illumination is user-selectable amber or green. (7"W x 1"H x 5-1/8"D.)
