This 7/8-inch tweeter with a hard-dome design provides the high-frequency response you crave in your car audio setup. Its fluid-cooling prevents overheating during prolonged use, ensuring durability and consistent sound dispersion.
Flush-and-mounted Design
The hardware features a flush-mounted design, allowing flexible tweeter placement in your car, along with durable non-removable metal mesh grilles. The Pioneer TS-T110 utilizes neodymium magnets for enhanced mid and high frequency responses. Its frequency range spans from 2,500 Hz to 30 kHz, preserving mid-range frequencies effortlessly. A built-in high-pass line-in crossover prevents unwanted frequencies, adding to its worry-free design.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- • Why do the tweeters produce little or no sound after installation?
This is usually caused by incorrect wiring, a loose connection, or improper crossover installation. Double-check all wiring and verify the tweeters are connected to the correct output.
- • Why do the highs sound too sharp or harsh?
Excessive treble settings or poor tweeter placement can make high frequencies sound overly bright. Reducing the treble level or repositioning the tweeters often creates a smoother sound.
- • Can I connect these directly to my factory stereo?
Yes, if they are installed with the included crossover or appropriate high-pass protection. Connecting them without proper filtering may damage the tweeters.
- • Why do the tweeters stop working at higher volumes?
This can happen if the amplifier is clipping or the crossover is not installed correctly. Verify the crossover wiring and avoid excessive gain settings.
- • Where should I mount the tweeters for the best sound?
Many users achieve the best soundstage by mounting them on the A-pillars, sail panels, or upper door panels. Proper positioning improves stereo imaging and vocal clarity.
- • Why do I hear static or crackling from the tweeters?
Static is often caused by loose wiring, amplifier clipping, or electrical interference. Inspect the wiring connections and verify the amplifier is operating within its limits.
- • Can these be added to existing factory door speakers?
Yes. Many users install them alongside factory or aftermarket speakers to improve high-frequency detail and overall soundstage.
- • Why do the tweeters sound louder than my door speakers?
This usually results from crossover settings, amplifier tuning, or the tweeter mounting angle. Adjusting the equalizer or changing the mounting position can create a more balanced sound.
- • Do these require an external amplifier?
No. They can work with many factory and aftermarket head units, although an external amplifier can improve overall clarity and dynamic range.
- • Why is the stereo image still centered near the floor after installation?
Tweeter placement has a significant impact on soundstage height and imaging. Mounting them higher in the vehicle usually creates a more natural listening experience.

I have a set in my 02 dodge durango and they sound good. I've had kenwood and polks and a few others and these are the only ones that have held up to an amp.And for that I will add another set to the back of my suv.
