I got 4 of this kicker's hook up on a 1400watts 4 channel CRUNCH POWERZONE amp n 2 tell u the true is the BEST speakers that i had ever hook up in my car. They r LOUD AS F**K. THEY R SO WORTH DA PRICE!!!
I have 2 prs of these in my semi truck. I'm running a Kenwood Excelon 397 head unit and my amp is a Hifonics Brutus series 150 RMS X 4. Also have a pr. of Audiobahn 10 inch subs rated at 600 RMS each in a ported box tuned to 30 HZ. They are powered by another Hifonics Brutus series amp a 1,200 watt RMS monoblock 1 channel bridged to 600 RMS watts for each sub. It isn't the sort of bass you can hear a half mile off but holy c#p are they awesome! The 4 KS series Kickers are absolutely awesome!!!!! Do not hesitate to buy these. I have the bass turned back on em and sat my crossover frequency to 75HZ. My subs take care of everything 75 HZ and below. I just want great mid-bass and mids n highs from these and they deliver in droves! They are crisp clean and deafeningly loud! Are they thee best 6X9 I've ever heard? No. But they're close! The price tag is cheap for the sound these babys deliver! You definitely wanna run em with a good 100 RMS watt amp or higher. Anybody who says Kicker KS don't sound good must be either deaf or stupid. They look bad a$$ and they sound even better!! Get em! You'll love em!!
So I have a solo baric L5 15 and I struggled with finding a great sounding pair of speakers that you could actually hear over the sub and this product worked perfectly.
The highs are crisp and clear, the mids are very pronounced and the lows are felt, you can't go wrong with these, you won't find speakers with this quality for this price, just feed a good signal and power them up with a good amp.
Bought 6x9's and 5-1/4's ks series, brought the deck to life. Good low end and sound. Would buy again. Thanks.
