Excellent Replacement for Factory Speakers
Featuring a maximum power handling of 60 watts and an RMS power rating of 15 watts, the TS-A878 provides ample power for a small speaker, producing detailed and accurate sound. Its woofer cone is rigid and lightweight, allowing for precise and responsive audio reproduction.
Compatible With a Wide Range of Car Audio Systems

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- • Why do my new speakers sound quieter than the factory ones?
This can happen if the factory radio has limited power output or the wiring is not connected properly. Verify the speaker polarity and consider using an external amplifier for better performance.
- • Why do vocals sound clear but instruments seem muffled?
Improper equalizer settings or the speaker's placement inside the vehicle can affect sound balance. Resetting the EQ and ensuring the speakers are mounted securely can improve clarity.
- • Can I install these without replacing my factory wiring?
Yes, in many vehicles the factory wiring can be reused if it is in good condition. Some installations may require a wiring adapter for a secure and plug-and-play connection.
- • Why do the speakers lose sound after driving over bumps?
A loose speaker connector or wiring harness is a common cause of intermittent audio. Inspect the wiring behind the speaker and tighten any loose connections.
- • Will adding sound-deadening material improve the audio quality?
Yes. Sound-deadening material reduces door vibrations and outside noise, allowing the speakers to produce cleaner and more accurate sound.
- • Why do I hear distortion only when the bass is turned up?
Excessive bass boost can force the speakers beyond their clean operating range. Reducing the bass level or adding a dedicated subwoofer can eliminate distortion.
- • Can these handle long road trips at high listening levels?
Yes, when powered within their recommended limits they are designed for extended listening sessions. Avoid excessive amplifier clipping, as it can damage any speaker over time.
- • Why do the speaker grilles vibrate while music is playing?
Loose grille clips or mounting hardware can vibrate at higher volume levels. Tightening the mounting points or adding thin foam tape can help eliminate the noise.
- • Will replacing only the rear speakers improve my overall sound system?
Replacing only the rear speakers will improve rear audio quality, but the overall system will still be limited by the factory front speakers. Upgrading all speakers provides a more balanced listening experience.
- • Why do they sound better after a few days of use?
New speakers typically require a short break-in period for the suspension to become more flexible. After several hours of normal playback, the sound often becomes smoother and more balanced.

They fit right into my RAM doors without any issues. The sound is a massive upgrade from the garbage stock setup. If you're thinking about changing your dash speakers, go grab these.

Very satisfied with these tiny speakers from Pioneer. Almost similar size to my tweeters, just a little bit bigger but it works as 2 way and I’m liking the performance. Fits just right on my F150 and the installation was never a hassle

Just a perfect fit in my Camry. No complaints with the sound. Great value for the money.
-
They sound good along with the 6x9s that I got before a year ago

Solid little upgrade over stock. Highs are clear without being too sharp, mids are present, and the bass is better than expected for a 3.5”. They won’t compete with bigger drivers, but paired with decent door speakers they really fill in the sound. At this price point, I’d recommend them.
