I needed a CD player and don't care for GPS navigation with all the misguided directions. The Kenwood DPX594BT was of the few that met my needs. Easy to install, I liked the buttons instead of touch screen, easy to work while driving without taking eyes off the road. Also the different screen colors are great for night driving. I don't like any device that I must hold the button to turn off, it a distraction to driving. Another issue is tuning radio stations, no manual tuning. If it's not a strong signal when scanning it cannot be added. I can find numerous AM station with a manual radio, but Kenwood's setup will not pick any AM station, I assume to normal frequency of AM. It will pickup FM station, but some local stations need to be scanned several time before being picked up. I know most of the local frequency, but cannot add or tune manually.
Fast shipping, great price.
Love this deck, I've always been a fan of kenwood, sound quality, looks, the graphics, it's all good. Thanks
