Designed For 8" Speakers
SSV Works custom molded Cage Mount Pods are designed for 8" speakers and can be used when you need more sound in your Side by Side. Unlike wakeboard towers, our mini pods are designed to provide sound to the passengers without blocking visibility. They are finished in a black texture and is stylized to match factory interior textures and can be custom painted to match your color scheme. Brand-new redesigned dual clamping system allows you 360-degree rotation while on the cage. Unlike other cage pods where you need to find its position before the clamp goes on. Includes stainless mounting hardware, and step-by-step installation instructions.

- • Why does the pod feel loose on my cage?
Check that the 1.85-inch clamps are correctly sized and evenly tightened around the cage before riding.
- • Will any 8-inch speaker fit inside the enclosure?
Not necessarily. Check the speaker cutout, mounting depth, and overall dimensions before installation. SSV Works lists approximately 208 mm of maximum mounting depth.
- • Why does the enclosure move when the bass hits?
Loose clamp tension or mounting hardware can allow the pod to vibrate. Retighten the hardware and verify the speaker is securely mounted.
- • Can I aim the speaker after everything is installed?
Yes. The redesigned dual-clamp system allows approximately 360° adjustment, making it easier to direct sound toward the occupants.
- • Why is there no sound after installing my own speakers?
These are unloaded pods, so the speakers still need proper wiring and an amplifier. The enclosure itself does not provide amplification.
- • Can these pods connect to my existing SSV Works system?
Yes, compatible SSV Works harnesses can provide a plug-and-play connection with certain existing systems.
- • Why does the speaker rattle inside the pod?
Loose mounting screws, an improperly seated speaker, or vibration around the enclosure can create unwanted rattling at higher volume.
- • Will the 1.85-inch clamps fit my UTV?
They are intended for specific 1.85-inch-class cages, including applications such as the Can-Am Maverick X3 and Kawasaki Teryx perimeter cages. Measure your cage before ordering.
- • Why does my audio sound weak even with large 8-inch speakers?
The pods are only enclosures; output depends on the speakers, amplifier power, tuning, and audio source used with the system.
- • Can I use these pods in wet trail conditions?
The enclosures are designed for powersports use, but the installed speaker and wiring should also be properly weather-resistant and protected from direct water exposure.
