This is intentional—the two DSP profiles are tuned differently, with ROCK prioritizing fuller sound while parked and RIDE compensating for wind, engine, and helmet noise during driving.

Off-road engine and wind noise can mask low frequencies, particularly at higher speeds. The built-in subwoofer-level control can be used to increase bass output for riding conditions.
