Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- • Why won't the amplifier turn on?
Check the fuse, battery power, ground connection, and remote turn-on wire. A missing 12V remote signal is the most common cause.
- • Why does it keep going into protect mode?
Inspect the speaker wiring, impedance, and ventilation. Overheating or a shorted wire can activate protection mode.
- • Why do my speakers sound distorted at higher volume?
Lower the gain and verify the crossover settings. Excessive input gain is a common cause of distortion.
- • Why do I hear alternator whine through my speakers?
Check the amplifier ground and keep RCA cables away from power wires to reduce electrical interference.
- • Can I bridge the amplifier to power a single subwoofer?
Yes, if the connected subwoofer meets the amplifier's bridged impedance requirements.
- • Why is one speaker louder than the other?
Check the balance setting, speaker wiring, and amplifier channel connections for loose or incorrect wiring.
- • Why does the amplifier get very hot during use?
Ensure it has adequate airflow and that the speaker load matches the recommended impedance.
- • Why is there power but no audio output?
Verify the RCA inputs, speaker wiring, and head unit output settings. A disconnected signal cable can prevent sound.
- • How do I set the gain correctly?
Start with the gain at minimum and gradually increase it until the audio is loud and clean without distortion.
- • Can I use this amplifier with factory speakers?
Yes, provided the speakers can handle the amplifier's output power and are wired correctly.

I bought one of this a year ago to power up my 6.5s but now that I got a 150 watt sub, I bought one again and run it in a bridge mode at 4 ohms. The sound is more than I expected. Its really good. Set the amp at mid level and the volume is more than okay.
