Purpose-built for Subwoofer
Designed and made for subwoofer applications, the JL Audio RD1000/1 is a subwoofer amplifier purposely built for producing jaw-dropping bass with minimal distortion. Engineered using the latest technologies, JL Audio has made an excellent product for your specific bass needs.
Heavy-duty Aluminum Heat Sinks
The JL Audio RD1000/1 also has some signal processing features on its own. It comes with a low pass filter frequency from 50 to 500 Hz, which gives more definition to the bass, and a bass boost of up to +12 dB if you are still not satisfied with the bass that your subwoofer produces.

Patented Solokon Polypropylene Cone
The 12-inch Kicker 44CVX124 subwoofer comes with Kicker's patented SoloKon polypropylene cone and Santoprene rubber surround stitched together, resulting in improved durability while being able to produce an accurate bass performance with minimal distortion. Its voice coils can withstand high temperatures allowing for long hours of usage.
