Loose clamp tension or mounting hardware can allow movement. Recheck the clamps and tighten all mounting points after positioning the pods.
- • Can these pods be installed with a rear windshield?
Not always. SSV Works notes that a rear windshield can interfere with these cage-mounted pods, so clearance should be checked before installation.
- • Why is one speaker louder than the other?
Check the speaker wiring, amplifier channels, and balance settings. A loose connector can also cause reduced output from one side.
- • How can I stop rattling from the speaker enclosure?
Inspect the clamps, mounting hardware, and speaker screws. Tightening loose components can reduce vibration noise during loud playback or rough driving.
- • Can I change the direction of the pods after mounting?
Yes. The dual-band clamp design allows the pods to be repositioned so the speakers can face the occupants more directly.
- • Why aren't the RGB lights working while the speakers play normally?
The lighting circuit is separate from the audio connection. Check the RGB wiring, power connection, and optional controller if the speakers work but the lights do not.
- • Can I use my own 6.5-inch speakers in these pods?
Yes. SSV Works states that standard 6.5-inch speakers can be installed in the unloaded pods, so you are not limited to a specific speaker brand.
- • What causes distorted sound when the volume is increased?
Excessive amplifier gain, clipping, or incorrect speaker settings can create distortion. Check the amplifier setup before assuming the speaker is damaged.
- • Why does the sound change after installing a cage-mounted pod?

- • Do I need a separate RGB controller for the lighting?
The pods can be ordered with an RGB controller, while SSV Works also offers its LIT-CC controller for combining multiple RGB accessories into one system.
