These Power T1682 6"x8" speakers utilize advanced design elements to ensure that they'll deliver superior sound in your vehicle for a long, long time. The lightweight polypropylene cone is reinforced with strong carbon fibers so it'll keep its shape when you're pushing the speaker hard. You'll hear accurate midrange and bass reproduction, while the 1" aluminum dome tweeter makes the high frequencies sparkle. These speakers will handle up to 80 watts RMS so connect an external amplifier to get the most out of them.
Proprietary VAST™ technology increases the woofer's cone area without increasing the size of the basket. This larger cone gives you deeper lows and more power handling, and it's supported by a durable rubber surround that's designed to last a long time. Rockford Fosgate mounts the tweeter on an offset suspension system, minimizing any acoustic reflections from back of the tweeter and maximizing accuracy. And open slots on the frame make it easier to install these speakers if the factory holes are slightly off.

I have 2 sets of these in my 07 ford five hundred powered with a kenwood DVD head unit. These speakers put out a ton of bass and they sound good doing it. The tweeter sounds a little bright but nothing that some tuning can't handle. Once you get it dialed in, these speakers sound amazing. Everyone should get these.
I blew out one of my previous rf speakers so I replaced with these. They sound good but I think quality may still be an issue if you stress them at all. One is crackly at certain ranges. I don't need them for bass and that's where I have issues with them, just keep them at a moderate level and you'll be happy.
I’m all good with sound coming from these 6x8s. Had them on my Ford F-250 for a while and there is really a difference between the stock speakers
Good lows, good highs, just an overall good product from Rockford Fosgate. Never had an issue setting up in my F350 too.
