Ability to Produce a Clear and Loud Bass
The Alpine X-W12D4 uses a cast aluminum frame, an industry-standard material known for its durability. Its cone combines polypropylene and mica, giving the lightweight needed for the subwoofer to create an exceptional response. Using Alpine's trademark, HAMR surround, the subwoofer can produce a lot of bass without distorting the audio quality.
A newly designed triple-stacked magnet motor gives the subwoofer the ability to produce a clear and loud bass. At the same time, its customized heat sink allows you to use the subwoofer for a longer time, even if you cranked up the volume levels.
Will Never Have a Problem Going Loud and Producing Thumping Bass
With a 2.6-inch voice coil, the subwoofer has an RMS power output of 900 Watts and can reach up to 2,700 Watts of peak power. With a sensitivity of 84.3 dB and a frequency response of 23 up to 200 Hz, you can be sure that this subwoofer will never have a problem going loud and producing thumping bass.
Subwoofer Amplifier Has Heavy-duty Aluminum
The subwoofer amplifier has heavy-duty aluminum heat sinks for efficient and quick heat dissipation, and its dual terminals are designed for easier installation of multiple speakers into the amplifier. It has protection circuitry against thermal, overload, and speaker short circuits.
