The Prima APBX 10 AS2 active subwoofer, with 10-inch driver,features a dedicated high performance amplification module which enhances all the passive box technologies, such as the 2S² (2 Sides / 2 Sounds) design, the Plug & Play terminal block and ultra-compact size.
The 400W RMS amplification module employs he-li technology for 90% efficiency and dynamic bass. The DC-DC voltage booster is eliminated, thanks to new dual coil drivers with ultra-low impedance (0.16 ohms for APBX 10 AS), allowing for optimal power utilization and intense bass even at high volumes.
The controls section ensures optimal regulation of car cabin low-frequency emission. Featuring a Butterworth low-pass filter (12dB/Oct.) with variable cut-off frequency (50-200 Hz), it can be bypassed when paired with an AP bit processor with a dedicated sub pre-out. The adjustable bass-boost control (0-6 dB) at 45 Hz empowers users to enhance lower-frequency response.
