- • Why won't the USB option appear when I plug in a device?
Check that the USB device is properly connected and contains compatible music files. A connection or file-format issue can prevent USB playback.
- • Why does Bluetooth disconnect or fail to connect?
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on the phone and remove old pairings if necessary. Distance, interference, or another connected device can also cause interruptions.
- • Why is there no sound when using the AUX input?
The auxiliary input requires a line-level signal. Check the cable, source volume, input selection, and connections to avoid using a speaker-level output.
- • Why does SiriusXM show "Check Antenna"?
Inspect the SiriusXM antenna connection for loose plugs, damage, or kinks. A faulty or disconnected antenna cable can cause this message.
- • Why does SiriusXM say "No Signal"?
The antenna may have an obstructed view of the sky. Check its mounting position, cable routing, and connections for anything interfering with reception.
- • Why is the display difficult to see in bright sunlight?
Direct sunlight can make a marine receiver's display harder to read. Adjust the display settings and mounting angle when possible to improve visibility.
- • Why does the radio lose my settings after the power is disconnected?
Check the constant-power and ground connections. A properly connected memory circuit should retain presets, audio settings, and zone configurations.
- • Can I connect a marine VHF radio to the AUX input?
The AUX input accepts a line-level source, not speaker-level output from a VHF radio. A suitable line-level connection is required for compatibility.
- • Why does the receiver turn on but produce no audio?
Check the selected source, volume, mute setting, RCA connections, and amplifier wiring. A powered display does not necessarily mean an audio signal is reaching the speakers.
- • Why does the SiriusXM tuner show "Check Tuner"?
Inspect the connection between the receiver and SiriusXM Connect tuner. A loose, disconnected, or damaged tuner cable can prevent communication.
