The JAM3000 incorporates built-in Bluetooth 5.3, enabling wireless audio playback (A2DP) and control (AVRCP) from Bluetooth-enabled devices. This feature allows users to stream music, audio apps, and other content from their Bluetooth-enabled smartphones or tablets to the marine digital media receiver. Basic playback functions, such as Play/Pause and Previous/Next Track, can be controlled directly from the front panel. Additionally, song, artist, and album information (excluding album art) is displayed on the front panel. Users can pair multiple Bluetooth devices with the JBL JAM3000; however, only one device can be connected for playback at any given time. The Bluetooth wireless range extends to approximately 33 feet.
The JBL marine receiver features a rear-panel USB-A port connected to the chassis via an 8-inch pigtail (a USB extension cable is required and sold separately). This USB-A port enables connection to a USB MSC (Mass Storage Class) device, such as a USB thumb drive, supporting up to 999 music files. The unit allows for audio playback and control of MP3, WMA, AAC, and WAV files stored on a compatible USB thumb drive. It includes functions for Play/Pause, Previous/Next Track, and Random/Repeat playback. The Intro Scan feature allows users to locate and play the first six seconds of each track on the USB drive, and song, artist, and album information (excluding album art) is also displayed.
Note:The USB-A port does not support media playback from Apple iOS or Android devices, nor does it support USB card readers or hubs.

The JBL JAM3000 is equipped with a built-in AM/FM tuner that supports manual, seek, preset, and preset scan tuning. Users can choose between US and European tuning settings. The marine unit features three FM banks and one AM bank, with each bank capable of storing up to six station presets. This allows for a total of 18 FM presets and six AM presets. Users can scan through their preset stations for six seconds each to quickly locate their desired station, with options for manual or automatic storage.

Versatile Mounting Options:
Designed with a rectangular front panel and a circular "gauge"-style chassis, the JBL JAM3000 offers flexible installation options. It requires a circular cutout in the bulkhead for the chassis. The self-adhesive foam gasket provides a tight seal, while the included U-bracket and hardware allow for secure rear mounting. Alternatively, the receiver can be front-mounted using the supplied screws.
