If you want serious low-end punch in a tight build, the Rockford Fosgate Punch P3SD2-12 shallow subwoofer is built exactly for that mission. Designed with a space-saving shallow mount architecture, it fits where most full-size subs simply cannot go, making it perfect for compact enclosures without losing output strength. The anodized aluminum cone and Santoprene surround keep things rigid and consistent, so even when you crank it hard, the bass stays tight, clean, and controlled instead of falling apart.
One of the best parts of the P3SD2-12 is its dual 2-ohm voice coil setup, giving you flexible wiring options for 1-ohm or 4-ohm configurations depending on your amplifier setup. That means you can tune your system for maximum efficiency or raw output power without being locked into one configuration. Built with CEA-2031 compliant power handling, it is designed for long-term reliability, so you can push it hard without worrying about it giving up when the volume stays up for hours.

This sub is engineered for real-world abuse, not just specs on paper. The enhanced cooling system with spider venting and an anodized aluminum voice coil former helps keep temperatures under control during heavy bass runs. The VAST surround design increases effective cone area, giving you more bass output without increasing physical size. Add in flexible mounting technology, heavy-duty terminals, and optimized sealed or vented enclosure performance, and you get a subwoofer that is compact, tough, and seriously capable when it comes to deep, punchy bass.
Specifications:
this thing sounds awesome never expect to see this shallow mount putting out that much bass it is just as loud as the normal p3 12 which is very impresive a shallow mount sub to do the set uo i have is a p3s 12 with a p300-1 amp had the sun for a month and it just keeps getting louder and better sound quility as it breaks in more
Okay... Just let me say at school they could hear it inside and said it was rattling the walls.
I love my P3's these are my 2nd pair, they most definity do the job, had kickers at first didn't last a month...
i have 2 of these in my extended cab sonoma. they rattle this shit out of it. you can even see the roof rippling! these things are amazing.
My Step dad just re-did his ext. cab silverado with 2 P3s and the thing is amzing, he also has a p1000 1 amp. i never knew how much such a little sub could do. great price for these!!!
I have two of these in a 2009 Dodge Ram. One is under the rear passenger seat in a sealed enclosure with 1.15 cubic foot, and sounds great (running off a JL Audio 500/1). The other is in a sealed enclosure between the driver and passenger seat with .95 cubic feet, and sounds even better (running off a Kenwood XR-1). I like the fact that these subs require little air space. I would purchase these again (if I were limited on space like I am in my Dodge).
I have a set of these in my 67 elco, on a 1500.1 hifonics and they sound real nice, i love this set up
Ok so i have two kicker 12" comps (4 ohm) in a box under the back seat of my sierra, but the box is relatively small so im not getting enough airspace to them. They hit hard on the high and mid range bass but just cant seem to crash on the low low bass...depressing. Im really interested in these rocks but i want to make sure they can hit low does anybody have advice?????
Has performed very well.
Great sub can't beat it for the money. I have two in my tundra and it couldn't sound better just the right amount of base
Good bass and sound for a shallow woofer, good quality, fit, and finish.
