It also has Advanced Rollback Protection technology, which rolls back the amp's peak power output until its operating temperature reaches safe levels, avoiding the unnecessary shutdown that comes with most amplifiers.
It is loaded with JL Audio's famous differential balanced inputs to protect the amplifier from induced cable noise that is typical of any car audio setup. The JL Audio XD500/3v2 can also automatically turn itself on after detecting a signal from its audio source.
The JL Audio XD500/3v2 can handle a power output of 75 Watts RMS in its main channels and 180 Watts RMS in its subwoofer channel at 4 ohms. It can also deliver 100 Watts of RMS power output in its two main channels and 300 Watts of RMS power at a 2-ohm impedance in its mono subwoofer channel. Lastly, it has a variable high-pass, bandpass, and low-pass filter for a more defined audio performance.
