I have 3 of these in my 65 Lincoln they fit perfect in the center of the dash. I had to modify the rear deck to fit them, just trimmed some metal, and they sound really good and clean just off the head unit.
Great speakers for the money. I run a 300/2 on them. Handle the power with no issues. Very clear bright but not too bright.

I have been a loyal JL customer for several years now. These C2 6x9's are no different to the high level of quality that I have come to know and love from JL products. Great bass from a 3-way speaker with crystal clear highs and true to sound mids. This speaker really can do it all! I would strongly encourage anyone to pick up a set of them, you will not be disappointed!
J L Audio is known for its quality.These speakers did not impress me. The highs could have more clarity, woofer doesn't produce the bass expected. Real let down.

These speakers really are awesome, the sound quality are unlike any 6x9's I have ever experienced. worked great amplified, and un-amplified, depending on your head unit's output power. These things beg for power though... Holds great bass, but will also work as great mids (not for highs), should you already have subs in place. Overall, great speakers...

I have these mounted in the front doors of my '12 Grand Cherokee and love the staging. They have a fair amount of bass and can get pretty bright if need be depending on your set-up. All in all, they are flexible in terms of their frequency response and make designing a stereo system fairly satisfying. I have the 6.5 version of these in the rear doors and together with the fronts are run off a JL Audio 360/4, it's more than enough and I'm very happy.
A simple word would be “love” such a good looking stereo to start with and then the sound is elite
