I have an F240 installed running 2 x Alpine SPS-690's (6x9's) rear speakers. The Alpine CDA-9815 head unit runs the other four factory fitted small speakers in my car. This set-up works really well for me. I know others would say "where's the sub?" but I just wanted an elegant system with adequate ballsy, yet smooth, clean, bass. I got it :)
I also have this hooked into some alpine sps 690A 6 by 9's. I have a pair of alpine S 5 1/4's for the door. If you are looking for quality and price; This is it! Don't let the 40 rms by 4 fool you. This unit will drive any 4 speakers to there max!
wow... i installed this to improve the speaker sound.. i was using the pioneer head unit... what a difference... this amp can't be 40 watts rms.. its pushing my infinity components to the stratosphere.. this amp has huge power.. clean.. pristine.. and i can turn the volume all the way up to 60 and it won't distort.. i gave it a 9 for product features because the crossover is fixed at 85.. not really a big deal because i use the head unit for the crossover selections anyway... this is all you need to run your inside speakers.. huge power...

This is a nice amp for the price. 40 watts isn't going to blow your doors off but it will start your hearing loss a little sooner. I thought it was going to be a bit louder but still very good.

Hello Everyone I just purchase this Amp and Install it was a good feeling I am pushing 2 6 by 9 speakers and a pair of Infinity component it was clean sounds and beside that that I am really Happy
Perfect amp for the price, real clean sound. I'm running 2 6x9 infinity 9603i and 2 5 1/4 5002i. for as comparison I also own a 300/4 jl audio amp and the alpine amp is next in class.
I have had this unit for 1 1/2 years, running for speakers. No problems and plenty of power to run four speakers.
Love Alpine quality and you can take thier power ratings to the bank and most likely underrated. 2 ohm stable rocks and I can't believe the difference in sound quality from even my alpine head units built in amp (which was an unbelievable jump already from my previous aftermarket HU).
For the money I Guess I shouldn't complain to much. But the power terminals are the same size as the speaker terminals. makes 8ga cable look like overkill. But it puts out and provides clean sound. Its a bargain when times are tight
Can this amp push my 12 inch kicker? Because I have a local seller tryng to sell me this amp , and he told me that he used this amp to push 2 12 inch SUBS. Please I need a feedback .
