Man This speaker beats... It sounds better than 2 12's in a sealed box if the MA is in a ported box...
this is a good sub for the money. Defintaly loud. worth the money. tested it in a 1.5cubic ft ported box with 200watts and it was loud.
I just got four of these in my escort and let me tell you they hit HARD!!!! I love themfar the best system I have ever had and cheep really.under $300.00 all brand new for amp,box and wire I have them running out of a two channel amp mono briged at 2ohms 1200watt RMS and i am running them out of a profile amp SICK SICK SICK thank you MA AUDIO I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i had two of these subwoofers with a 300 watt crossfire amp my db level of 101 just from two now that im gettin four in a 4 hole stacked ported box i should be reaching a good 120-130 choosing which amp i will go with.
I just got 4 of these and let me tell you they are some of the best subs I have had. I put them in my 04 mustang with two Ma audio HK-798 amps and it bumps. These are good subs and I recommend them to any one
Don't know what to say about this sub. Tried it in sealed and ported and they had a muddy sound. After they lay in the garage for a year, I blew one of my subs so I pulled these babys out and popped them in a .75 cf downfire Silverado enclosure and thye sounded pretty good and hit hard with rap and r& b music. I guess they will be fine in a trunk or dowfire but will sound bad in a suv or hatch back. Not bad for the price. Check other sites and you can fine them alot cheaper.
i have one 10" in a bandpass box in a 2001 firebird and did a comp and hit 125.3 db with a "thump 250W amp" made in 1980's they are NICE subs and don't need alot of power.
this sub is well worth its money and more. it handles tremendous power and puts out tight bass
