i recently bought this sub and it hits just as hard as my friends 12in. W-7. i'm powering it with the hifonics brutus bx1505D soooo clean best buy!!!!!
I have 2 of these (the T2, older version) in a dual bandpass box with a Power Acoustik 2400W D-class amp. People think I have 3 - 4 subs in the car but I don't. They hit so low, deep, and clean that you can't believe it.
great sub amazing sound u can really feel it when it hits those lows. i have a soundstream reference 700sx amp running one of these at 1/2 ohm. loud.
this is the best subs to buy. i have it running off of a 1200watt viper amp and it POUNDS.
This sub is really top of the line. I have two of these running off of 1 1600 watt rockford fosgate and my front window shakes and the rear view mirror fell off.
i have two of these in my 00 impala and they hit hard deep and clean, they were louder then most systems in my area and i only had a 1/3 of the rms that the subs needed when i get my new amp they are gonna be crazy
its a really good type of speaker, but they have the T-5 tarantula series and this pounds even harder, but T-4 and T-5 are the best for lows.
I just bought this speaker and I'm quite impressed with the lows on it. . For the price it's definitely a good buy! I am using BXi1606D Hifonics amplifier to drive this and the combination works out to be great! . It does'nt blow your ear drums out; for that I believe you'd need 2 of these or the 15's but with the right settings on the amp you'll be able to get peoples attention. . I recommend this for a good price and sound but if your looking for the one 12 that can out peform this than study your specs, read reviews and spend a little more cash
I had one of these in the recommended ported enclosure and went to a competition with a seriously overrated and ineffecient Power acoustik amp and a dying battery and got it to do a 129.1 so these are decent subs. and I only had it on 2 ohms seeing as that is all my amp could handle.
I had two of these hooked up to a 7000 watt goliath trantula soundstream amp and they blew the box apart, literally.
i have 5 of these in a cut threw in my truck with 2 pca2000d's 1 pca 1000d. too loud to sit in. have had it for 2 years never blown 1 sub. best subs ive ever had. straight dumpin!!!!
Only the 2nd subwoofer I've ever owned after having 2xSony Xplods but this subwoofer alone blows them away. I'm feeding it 1kw although it's rated rms is 900w but I've have no difficulties with it at all. Very highly recommended if you want a subwoofer that has that really boomy bass.
Got one of these running off my Soundstream Rubicon 1000-2 and it bangs hard. Got pulled over by the cops for 'operating a vehicle with excessive noise'. Hits the lows real good and they can handle alot. Most audio people will tell you not to turn your volume or your gains up over 2/3 but every now and than I do just to see how it sounds and the T4-12 handles it with ease.
