The 4-ohm impedance of the subwoofer offers installation flexibility and works with different amplifiers. It uses Kicker's UniPlate™ technology to manage heat and maximize power handling. With a single voice coil, you can customize your setup easily, and its frequency response (30Hz to 500Hz) guarantees impactful bass at different frequencies.
This Kicker product comes with a Class A/B amplifier, giving it enormous power and the ability to produce a high-quality full-range sound. With its compact size and horizontal and vertical mounting options, you won't have a hard time installing it on your car. The amplifier also has an excellent thermal management system, with its heat sinks keeping the amplifier at a minimum operating temperature level.
The amplifier has a power output of 65 Watts RMS per channel at 4 ohms and 90 Watts RMS per channel at 2 ohms and can produce 180 Watts when bridged. It has a frequency response of 10 Hz up to 20 kHz and a signal-to-noise ratio of 95 dB, which only means it can go loud easily without distorting while seamlessly producing a full range of frequencies.
The Kicker 46CXA3604t also comes with other excellent features like a variable high/low pass filter and a bass boost to shape the sound quality you want to listen to. I have all my four Alpine 6.5s connected to the amp and its doing amazing things with the sound quality compared to before. Great improvement from the old amp. There is really an ample power that this amp can deliver to the speakers even at full capacity
