Monstrous Bass Output
Memphis Audio's Power Reference product line has always been known for having exceptional sound quality at an affordable price, and the Memphis Audio PRX624 subwoofer is proof of that reputation. Even with its tiny size, the 6.5-inch subwoofer can still give you the monstrous bass output that your car's factory subwoofer can't.
A Polypropylene Cone and Butyl Rubber Surround
The Memphis Audio PRX624 comes with a polypropylene cone and butyl rubber surround, which gives it an accurate bass response with minimal distortion and the necessary durability to perform at extended periods with high volume levels.
Power Reference Subwoofers
Like all Power Reference subwoofers, the Memphis Audio PRX624 has a shallow mount design with a mounting depth of 3 inches, allowing you to install it easily, even with limited space inside the vehicle, and without affecting the bass quality. Its FLEX technology allows you to choose between two impedances without any drop-offs in its audio quality and power output.

Features:
- Selectable Impedance: On the opposite side of the basket from the input terminals, there are four "shorting" terminals. Depending on how the included jumper wires are connected to these shorting terminals, the input terminals present either a 2Ω or 4Ω load. The power handling is the same for either setting: 150 watts RMS/300 watts peak.
- Rubber Magnet Boot: A black rubber boot covers the outside edge of the magnet structure to improve the cosmetics of the woofer and protect the magnet during installation. The boot is removable if needed for tight installations. (Slight change in depth and magnet diameter.)
- Sealed Enclosures: Sealed enclosures provide the most control over a woofer and provide accurate sonic reproduction, making them suitable to all types of music. Memphis Audio recommends a sealed enclosure of 0.35 ft³.
- Vented Enclosures: Vented (or ported) enclosures typically provide better overall efficiency than sealed so they are suitable for use with smaller amplifiers, giving you more bass output from a given amount of power. Memphis Audio recommends a ported enclosure of 0.5 ft³ with a 2" diameter x 8¾" long port, yielding a tuning frequency of 47 Hz.
