Massive Upgrade
A powerful mono subwoofer amplifier that you'd want to pair your car subwoofers with, the JL Audio JD1000/1 is the perfect complement to achieve your car audio system setup dream. A massive upgrade from their old JX Series counterpart, it offers better power and value.
Self-oscillating Modulator
The JD1000/1 comes with a Class-D amplifier, giving it more power than other types of amplifiers while fitting it in a compact chassis. With its integrated NexD Switching Technology, the self-oscillating modulator greatly helps cancel out any distortion acquired from voltage fluctuations.
Designed to Reduce the Noise
The amplifier comes with the company's highly sophisticated differential-balanced inputs, which are designed to reduce the noise produced by ordinary audio cables. It has a low pass filter frequency control and a bass boost of up to 12 dB to shape the bass tone you desire.
Massive Power Output
Thanks to its Class-D amplifier, the JL Audio JD1000/1 can produce a massive power output of 600 Watts RMS per channel at 4 ohms and 1000 Watts RMS per channel at 2 ohms. With its frequency response of 7 up to 500 Hz, playing any bass-heavy tracks at loud volumes will be no problem.

Bought this last year and buying this JL amp has been a delight. I have this hooked to two 15W0v3-4 and it sounds divine. It sounds so clean and I have been getting compliments from friends about how good the sound is.

I'm pushing my 2 12 inch Tarantula T5 Soundstream 1000 watt RMS EACH in a ported box with this 1000/1 D MONO JL and you wouldn't believe how ridiculous it sounds. My son is always waiting for me at the door when I get home cause he can hear me blocks away.
