Ive been looking for a review for this product for like a week and I cant find one, no wonder cause it a new release from JL
Anyways, I got a good deal on this pair of seps and was impressed on how it sounds. It beats my old seps (DLS-UP6) quality wise. From what ive read, this is the new VR.

Just OK. Lacking in midrange and vocals. Tweeters are harsh. The good news is the lows... exceptional for a 6 1/2. Decent value, get plenty loud under power, just rough around the edges.

Incredible sound especially for the price. Installed these bad boys together with the matching 6x9s, a JX 360/4 and couldn't be happier with the sound quality. Obviously got a 12" w1v3 to match the system and can't ask for more. Overall very happy with JL Audio system.

I was blown away at how good these speakers sound. They are a bit pricey bc I was putting them in the rear seat area but after hearing the difference compared to my focal rcx-165 coaxials it was night and day. They don’t come with wire but does come with all fittings needs to terminate. These fit perfectly in the factory locations especially the 3/4 tweeter in my newer Toyota Tundra. These were so good I’m debating switching the front 6x9s for 6.5.
